Job summary

Legal & General is seeking an Identity & Access Management Team Lead to combine practical IAM knowledge with strong people leadership. The role leads an established team, shaping the strategy for identity services and improving access governance across cloud and on‑premise environments.

The candidate will work with security, technology and the wider business to ensure controls stay effective as technology evolves. Strong stakeholder engagement is required.

Qualifications

Experience in Identity & Access Management or information security.
Proven leadership of technical or service teams.
Broad understanding of identity across cloud and on-prem environments.

Responsibilities

Lead IAM and Access Control teams with coaching and development.
Shape strategic direction of identity services and governance.
Oversee access governance: JML, RBAC, PAM, recertification, service accounts.
Coordinate IAM controls, attestations and remediation activity.
Improve policies, standards, processes and service performance.
Partner with business leaders and technology teams to drive changes.
