Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited seeks a Manager II, Support Engineer to lead the Security Support Engineering team and drive Identity and Access Management initiatives that protect Amazon's corporate environment. You will set priorities, mentor engineers, and deliver high-quality results at scale.

You will guide complex investigations, optimize workflows, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure access for thousands of employees while maintaining a people-first leadership

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-performing technical teams.
• Experience in Linux and at least one scripting language.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Experience with security or IAM.
• Ability to drive priorities with metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Security Support Engineers with coaching and feedback.
• Own operational results, SLA adherence, and high-quality output.
• Hire, onboard, and grow talent with development plans.
• Guide investigations and remediation of complex security decisions.
• Improve workflows and reduce manual effort through automation.
• Partner with Security Engineers and stakeholders to align priorities.
• Own team security metrics and drive improvements.
