Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited is seeking a Manager II, Security Support Engineering to lead a talented team focused on Identity and Access Management initiatives that protect Amazon\'s corporate environment. You will manage day-to-day operations and partner with stakeholders to deliver secure access at scale.

You will hire, coach, and develop engineers, drive automation, and own security outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.
Experience in technical support, or in software development and web security.
Experience with Linux.
Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS.
Experience with security disciplines including IAM, incident response, cloud security, or threat modeling.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team of Security Support Engineers, setting priorities and providing coaching.
Own the team\'s operational results, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.
Hire, onboard, and grow talent with development plans.
Guide investigation and remediation of security decisions, escalate risks as needed.
Improve workflows and automate processes to reduce manual effort.
Partner with Security Engineers and stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver outcomes.
Own team security metrics and drive improvements.
