Job summary

Amazon Development Centre (London) Limited is seeking a Security Support Engineer focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM). You will resolve complex access-management issues, drive automation at scale, and work with business owners to align configurations with current security standards.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to security reviews, and lead remediation efforts while occasionally on-call to ensure secure access for internal and external identities.

Qualifications

• Experience in software development or technical support.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• Experience with Linux.
• Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language (Python/Java/Scala/NodeJS).
• Experience in security domains (identity and access controls, security reviews, incident response).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive security-related operational initiatives in a security-first, enterprise-scale environment.
• Assist customers with remediation steps and identify blockers or trends.
• Help customers adopt new security products or adjust configurations to meet security standards.
• Contribute to scripting and security tool development efforts.
• Own security metrics delivery and improvements.
• Mentor other engineers and support IAM security reviews.
