Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a hands-on Hygiene Team Leader to oversee hygiene operations across the factory. You will supervise the hygiene team, ensure the right people are in the right places, and manage training, paperwork, and shift handovers to uphold hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing staff training and the hygiene team.
• Supervision to ensure correct staffing and placement.
• Ensuring compliance and proper paper completion.
• Post-cleaning checks to standards.
• Managing chemical stock checks and handovers.
• Liaising with other departments on hygiene matters.
• Handling ad hoc projects from the Hygiene Manager.

Job Description

A role like this will vary and will require you to work across the factory in a ‘hands on’ hygiene role covering responsibilities of a hygiene operation. Additional responsibilities include:

• Overseeing staff training
• Supervision of the hygiene team to ensure the right people are in the right place
• Ensuring compliance to hygiene team to ensure the right people are in the right place
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed to the correct standard
• Ensuring that all paper is completed correctly
• Chemical stock checks
• Liaising with other departments
• Completion of shift reports and handovers
• Any ad hoc projects as determined by the Hygiene Manager

Qualifications

Experience of working as a Hygiene Team Leader or equivalent Hygiene and Team Leading experience. The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative. Your communication and organisational skills will also need to be good
