Job summary

2 Sisters Grimsby is seeking a Hygiene Operative to uphold high hygiene standards across production areas and building facilities. You will carry out daily cleaning, deep cleans, and post-clean checks, ensuring paperwork and safety procedures are followed.

Full training is provided, COSHH awareness is preferred, and you will work flexibly across shifts to support site operations. A structured training programme and benefits package accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in hygiene roles is beneficial but training will be provided.
• Ability to understand cleaning requirements and report issues clearly.
• Must follow Health & Safety and Hygiene procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled daily cleaning tasks across production areas.
• Clean processing equipment and production lines to high standards.
• Perform deep cleaning of production areas.
• Do post cleaning checks to ensure tasks are completed.
• Ensure paperwork is correctly completed.
• Comply with company health and safety/hygiene procedures.
• Report incidents or environmental concerns to Hygiene Supervisor/Manager.

Job Description

Role Purpose:

As a Hygiene Operative you will play an important role for 2 Sisters Grimsby. You will work across all of the production areas and be responsible for ensuring that all the machines and the actual building, meet strict high standards of hygiene at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

A role like this will vary and will require you to work across the factory, facilities and laundry – however the following are likely to be included.

• Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks.
• Cleaning of processing equipment and production lines to meet high standards.
• Deep cleaning of production areas
• Post cleaning checks to make sure everything has been completed properly.
• Ensuring that all paperwork is correctly completed.
• Making sure that everything you do complies with company procedures for Health and Safety and Hygiene
• The ability to work effectively under pressure of time.
• Reporting any incidents or environmental concerns to the Hygiene Supervisor/Manager
• Trained in COSHH and experience of cleaning with chemical (Training will be given)

Qualifications

Ideally you will have some experience of working as a Hygiene Operative however not essential as full training will be given. The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative. Your communication skills will also need to be good in order both to understand the cleaning requirements and also to report any issues as they arise in a clear manner.
