Job Opportunity: Hygiene Team Member at Kepak

Kepak, a global food company, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Hygiene team within the Product Supply Department at our Merthyr Tydfil site. This is a full-time, permanent position working from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on a 3 days on / 3 days off schedule.

About Kepak

Kepak supplies prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts, and ready-for-market convenience foods to international retailers and food service household names. Our Merthyr site combines beef and lamb processing and packing, sourcing products from local farmers and ensuring quality and integrity in every product.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for waste collection and organizing rebate streams
• Manage daily wash processes and maintain cleanliness of all factory areas
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, including waste disposal, floor cleaning, and PPE adherence
• Perform deep cleaning of machinery, belts, walls, ceilings, and lights following specific instructions
• Pre-wash areas including floors, walls, belts, and machinery in line with production needs
• Support the Product and Supply Supervisor as needed
