Job description

Kepak is a global food company serving international retailers and food service household names with prime cuts of meat, on-trend food concepts, and ready-for-market convenience foods.

Kepak St. Merryn in Merthyr Tydfil has combined beef and lamb processing and packing facilities. We offer beef and lamb products ranging from retail-ready cuts for butchers' counters to branded packaged meat, all sourced from local farmers and selected by our master butchers to ensure quality and integrity.

Our Merthyr site is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly Hygiene team within the Product Supply Department (WIP). This is a full-time, permanent position working 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, 3 days on / 3 days off.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for waste collection and organising rebate streams.
2. Control daily wash processes and ensure all areas of the factory are clean and meet health and safety standards.
3. Perform waste disposal, sweeping, washing floors, and deep cleaning machinery and areas following cleaning instructions.
4. Support pre-wash down of areas including floors, walls, belts, and machinery as needed.
5. Assist the Product and Supply Supervisor in daily tasks.
