Job summary

Pilgrim's Europe is recruiting for full-time Night shift Operatives to join our Hygiene Department at the Llanidloes site (SY18 6LX). Successful candidates will receive role-specific training to progress within the business.

Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, you will work with the Hygiene team to clean production and packing areas during the night shift, Monday to Friday, 17:00–01:00 (flexible).

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Practical/manual handling skills.
• Basic health and safety awareness (H&S).
• COSHH awareness.
• Team working and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Set up, changeover and operate machinery and other equipment in the area within standard operating procedures to achieve required outputs and quality.
• Comply with the food and hygiene requirements at all times.
• Operate high pressure water guns for cleaning operations.
• Check and monitor processes making recommendations for any adjustments necessary to achieve product and process specification.
• Empty waste containers from production departments as necessary.
• Wash and clean floors in all areas of the Factory as necessary.

Reporting to the Hygiene Manager, successful candidates will work with the Hygiene team to clean production and packing areas.

Shift pattern

Monday - Friday, 17:00pm - 01:00am (flexible)

Key Responsibilities
