Job summary

Culina is seeking a warehouse hygiene assistant to maintain cleanliness across areas such as Loading, Picking and Goods Inwards in a chilled environment. You will follow the Hygiene schedule, ensure debris-free automated zones and report issues promptly. Communication across shifts is key to keeping standards high.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic, adaptable and keen to learn, with strong attention to detail and a collaborative approach to team work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the warehouse areas.
• Work within the Hygiene schedule and keep automated areas debris-free.
• Provide cleaning support to Loading, Picking and Goods Inwards areas.
• Communicate hygiene issues between shifts to management.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is fit for purpose and reported if missing or defective.
• Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work; previous cold warehouse experience is desirable.

Job description

To ensure that all Company and Customer hygiene standards are maintained and monitored; in line with the companies systems, policies and procedures.

• Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness in the areas of the warehouse


• Working inside the current Hygiene schedule, ensure that all automated areas are clear of debris at the required interval


• Provide cleaning support to other areas within the warehouse such as Loading Area, Picking Area and Goods Inwards Area


• Ensure that clear communication between shifts, on hygiene issues are relayed to co-workers and duty management team


• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is fit for purpose, stored in the correct place and any missing and defective equipment is removed and reported to the duty management team


• Ensure that all risk assessments and safe systems of work are adhered to at all time
  Previous experience working in a chilled/cold warehouse environment is desirable but not essential


• Enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to learn and progress.


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
