Job summary
Stantec Hydropower & Dams is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in the UK, contributing across the full project lifecycle from concept through construction and operation. You will work with project managers and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated dam and hydropower solutions for UK and international clients.
You will bring Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with ICE, plus proven dam/hydropower design experience, and the ability to deliver technical
Qualifications
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with the ICE.
- Experience in civil design of dams, hydropower, or pumped storage schemes.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary project delivery and integration with structural, geotechnical, and M&E disciplines.
- Experience producing technical specifications, designs, and engineering reports.
- Ideally experience delivering designs for client-side and D&B projects.
- Confidence using 3D design environments and Common Data Environments (CDEs).
Responsibilities
- Support concept to detailed design, construction, and operational support.
- Provide advisory work and Owner’s Engineer services.
- Assist with installation, remediation, and troubleshooting activities.
- Contribute to due diligence, lender’s engineer services, and insurance assessments.
