Job summary

National Energy System Operator Limited is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to shape and deliver technology requirements for NESO’s evolving workplace and operations. You will bridge Digital & Technology teams with key business functions, leading planning and coordination for new office openings, relocations, and workplace improvements.

The role is hybrid with a base option in Wokingham or Warwick; we welcome flexible full-time or part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience delivering complex business or technology projects.
• Strong project management and governance experience.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies, budgets and reporting.
• Proven ability to coordinate diverse stakeholder groups to achieve shared objectives.
• Experience working with external suppliers and service partners.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, MSP or equivalent project management qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of workplace and technology initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and budgets.
• Coordinate between Technology, Procurement, Facilities, Legal, Security, Finance, HR and external suppliers.
• Ensure technology requirements are incorporated into wider business and property programmes.
• Manage multiple workstreams and provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Identify and remove delivery blockers while maintaining momentum.
• Coordinate supplier activities, contracts and procurement reviews.
• Support governance forums with reporting materials.
• Ensure operational readiness through handover, training and documentation.
• Drive continuous improvement across delivery processes and governance.
