Mind in Salford is seeking a Welfare Rights & Debt Adviser on a one-year fixed term starting November 2026. The role is based in Salford with hybrid working and 37.5 hours per week.

You will deliver welfare rights and debt advice, manage a client caseload, and contribute to service development in a supportive charity environment. The post offers flexible working, generous holiday entitlement, birthday leave and monthly wellbeing time, along with access to learning resources.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering welfare rights advice.
• Experience delivering debt advice.
• Ability to advocate for service users and understand needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver welfare rights and debt advice to people experiencing financial difficulties.
• Manage a caseload on a one-to-one basis with accurate records.
• Contribute to service development and partnership work.
