Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in London is seeking a talented Java developer to build front office eTrading applications for the Fixed Income desk. You will work closely with Traders, Quants, and Sales to shape the platform and deliver low-latency, scalable systems in a high-stakes environment.

You will mentor teams across EMEA, engage with global users, and contribute to testing, CI/CD, and performance tuning while benefiting from a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• Extensive programming experience with an object-oriented language (preferably Java).
• Solid architectural understanding of enterprise applications.
• Experience with concurrency, data structures, and design patterns.
• Familiarity with Agile development and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing front office eTrading applications for the trading business.
• Collaborating with Traders, Sales, and Quants on the platform's future direction.
• Enhancing platform capabilities while ensuring stability, flexibility and maintainability.
