Job summary

Southern Water in Falmer or Durrington is recruiting a Virtual Inspector (Customer & Compliance) to support our Virtual Triage team. You will use video, imagery and AI to analyze customer issues and determine the fastest course of action.

This is a permanent, full‑time hybrid role (38 hours, Monday–Friday) handling customer calls, coordinating third‑party repairs and raising work orders in our contact centre systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles within utilities or water sectors.
• Knowledge of water networks and network service concepts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer calls to analyse issues and determine the best next action.
• Coordinate third‑party repairs and raise work orders using contact centre systems.
• Deliver high-quality customer service while documenting interactions.
