Job summary

Victim Support in South Yorkshire is seeking a part-time Multi-Crime Caseworker to join the Operations team on a hybrid basis, combining home and office time in Rotherham. The role may require regular travel across South Yorkshire, with hours negotiated between Monday and Friday.

The Caseworker will conduct holistic assessments, develop tailored support plans for individuals affected by crime, and deliver information, advocacy, and resources to service users.

Qualifications

• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
• Competent IT skills, able to use generic systems.
• Good organisational & time management skills, able to manage competing needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of self-referred & referred service users, providing information & advocacy to help navigate the criminal justice process.
• Conduct risk & needs assessments, ensuring tailored support & information for each victim.
• Identify barriers to accessing services & work with partners to provide ongoing support.
• Keep accurate and confidential case records.
