Job summary

SYNNEX Corporation in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assistant Category Manager to support vendor operations, data integrity, reporting and processes. You will collaborate across Sales, Purchasing, Profit Management and BI to drive efficiency and profitable growth.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup, helping manage pricing activities, stock planning and forecasting while building strong vendor relationships and contributing to GP targets.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• A proactive, customer-focused approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience in a commercial, product, vendor management or technology-related environment.
• Knowledge of the IT industry, vendors, distribution channels and market dynamics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle, ensuring accurate product setup, maintenance and data integrity.
• Manage vendor pricing activities, including pricing exceptions and corrective actions with Profit Management teams.
• Oversee the Ship & Debit process in partnership with the central Barcelona team.
• Collaborate with Purchasing teams on stock allocation, provisioning and inventory planning.
• Analyse sales-out and stock performance data to identify trends and recommend actions.
• Build strong operational relationships with vendor partners to support forecasting and product planning.
• Contribute to business planning and help deliver quarterly Gross Profit (GP) targets.
• Provide day-to-day support to sales teams on pricing, product information and operational queries.
