Job summary

BAE Systems in Warton, on-site, seeks a Verification & Validation Capability Lead to drive requirement derivation, ICDs, SoWs and modelling for the V&V Test Facility for Typhoon Level 2.

You will manage suppliers, lead the ECRS Mk2 Test Facility fixed price proposal, support stakeholder workshops and reviews, and oversee LCM design reviews while building strong cross-functional relationships.

Qualifications

• Degree/HND or equivalent in a STEM discipline.
• Senior Systems Engineering across the full lifecycle (LCM).
• Experience of DOORs.
• Management/Leadership experience.
• Experience of Avionic Test Facilities / Electronic Warfare familiarity desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage Suppliers, internal and external, in development and costing of solutions.
• Lead the development of the ECRS Mk2 Test Facility Fixed Price Proposal.
• Support workshops with internal and external stakeholders (Customer and Industry).
• Support requirement reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead LCM Design/Phase Reviews for the V&V Test Facility.
• Collaborate with Typhoon Radar and Avionic teams within the Business.
• Manage team delivery against a baselined Schedule.
• Lead cross-functional discussions.
