Job summary

Premier is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the HR Operations team in a hybrid role based in Chorley or Huyton. You will manage weekly and monthly payroll cycles, liaise with our outsourced provider, and ensure data accuracy and timely submissions.

The role requires CIPP-qualified individuals or those working towards it, with strong Excel and payroll systems skills, and a solid understanding of UK payroll regulations. Hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

• Strong background in UK payroll processing and legislation.
• CIPP qualification or working towards it, or willingness to study.
• Proficient with data validations, Excel, and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly and monthly payroll submissions.
• Liaise directly with outsourced payroll provider.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, complete, and on time.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies, queries, and adjustments.
• Support year-end activities, HMRC submissions, and pension reporting.
