Job summary

Portfolio Group is seeking a payroll professional to join our HR Operations team. You will manage weekly and monthly payroll cycles, ensure data accuracy, and liaise directly with our outsourced payroll provider to keep payments timely and compliant.

You’ll resolve discrepancies and support year-end activities. This permanent role offers hybrid working from Chorley or Huyton, with development support towards CIPP Level 5 and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK payroll processing and legislation.
• Working towards CIPP qualification or open to studying.
• Strong data validation, Excel, and payroll systems abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly and monthly payroll submissions.
• Liaise directly with our outsourced payroll provider.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, complete, and on time.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies, queries, and adjustments.
