Job summary

LHH seeks a Payroll & Reward Analyst to join our HR Operations team in York. The role focuses on payroll, reward and benefits delivery across the UK & Ireland, ensuring accurate, compliant employee experiences and close collaboration with external providers.

You will act as subject matter expert, drive process improvements, and support change programmes. Hybrid working with minimum 2 days in the office and a discretionary bonus and benefits package are on offer.

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in a medium-to-large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience handling complex payroll issues and stakeholder queries.
• Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Proactive approach to process improvement and change.

Responsibilities

• Act as the subject matter expert for Payroll & Reward, supporting complex queries and escalations.
• Ensure payroll, reward and benefits processes are delivered accurately and compliantly.
• Manage relationships with payroll providers and key stakeholders.
• Partner with Tax, Legal, Pensions and Benefits teams to support end-to-end processes.
• Monitor legislative changes and support implementation of updates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Support HR projects and wider business change programmes.
• Share knowledge and best practice across the team.
