Job summary

Victim Support is seeking a motivated Triage and Early Intervention Officer to contact victims of crime by phone, text or email, and to conduct initial impact and risk assessments, delivering immediate and short-term tailored support to each client.

The role is based in Basingstoke with some travel through Hampshire, and offers hybrid working, generous annual leave, a pension plan, enhanced sick pay and wellbeing benefits to support your work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services within a statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency setting is beneficial.
• Competent IT skills and ability to use generic systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive impact and risk assessments for clients.
• Provide tailored responses and information about rights and available services.
• Take incoming calls and triage to other teams, including domestic abuse and safeguarding.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case management records.
• Collaborate with statutory and voluntary agencies to address clients' needs.
