Job summary

The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (MSSC) is seeking a Training Support Coordinator to join the Learning Team. The role supports training delivery by developing and administering processes in line with the Sea Cadets Learning Strategy.

Flexible location (home or office-based) with occasional in-person meetings at MSSC facilities, including the National Support Centre in London. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, well organised and a clear communicator.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a programme of training activity.
• Experience following processes outlined in policies and operating standards.
• Experience working with volunteers to engage and influence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support administration related to White Fleet vehicle bookings in line with Road Transport Regulations.
• Process Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE) requests and support the continual development of the process.
• Process invoices and cover approval of volunteer expenses for Training Manager leave.
• Update Westminster records to cadet and volunteer qualifications and appointments.
• Support training packages including BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh's Awards and CyberFirst delivery.
