Job summary

The Marine Society & Sea Cadets is seeking a part-time Training Support Coordinator to help develop and administer learning policies and support our training delivery team. The role is home-based with monthly in-office days in Portsmouth, requiring evening attendance for virtual and in-person meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting a programme of training activity.
• Experience following processes outlined in policies and operating standards.
• Experience of working with volunteers to engage and influence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support administration related to White Fleet vehicle bookings in line with Road Transport Regulations.
• Process Recognition of Prior Learning and Experience (RPLE) requests and support development of the process.
• Process invoices and approve volunteer expenses for Training Manager leave.
• Update Westminster records to cadet and volunteer qualifications and appointments.
• Support the Programmes and Virtual Training Manager with coordination and delivery of MSSC training packages, including BTEC, Duke of Edinburgh's Awards and CyberFirst.
