Job summary

BARBOUR is seeking a Test and Release Manager to lead testing governance across SIT, UAT and regression testing for key enterprise platforms. You will own release governance, supplier-led releases and the automation strategy, collaborating with business and technology teams.

The role is based at the South Shields head office with a 4 days in-office and 1 day home-working pattern, offering a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for continuous professional development.

Qualifications

Experience defining and implementing testing governance frameworks.
Proven ability to manage SIT/UAT, regression testing and release validation.
Experience with SaaS release cycles and supplier-led releases.
Knowledge of test automation frameworks and integration strategies.
Understanding of change, risk and IT service management.

Responsibilities

Define, implement and maintain testing governance, standards and procedures.
Coordinate SIT/UAT and regression testing across teams; ensure test environments and data are ready.
Own end-to-end release governance: calendars, controls and communications.
Coordinate supplier-led SaaS releases; manage business impact assessments and rollback plans.
Define and drive enterprise test automation strategy across key platforms.
