Job summary

Barbour in South Shields seeks a Senior IT Systems Analyst to lead analysis, design and delivery of complex IT solutions across the organisation, aligning with Barbour's strategic goals. You will guide architecture, drive data flows, and oversee integrations across PLM, PIM, ERP and CRM platforms.

You will mentor junior analysts, collaborate with architects and vendors, and help with resource planning while deputising for the IT Manager – Business Systems when needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, or equivalent with professional certifications preferred.
• Experience as IT Systems Analyst in a complex IT environment.
• Knowledge of integrations, APIs, data flows, and SDLC/Agile/ITIL.
• Experience with retail or apparel enterprise systems (PIM/PLM/ERP/CRM).
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering and translate business needs into detailed specifications.
• Oversee design, delivery, and implementation of IT solutions across platforms.
• Analyse and redesign business processes for efficiency.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, vendors, and suppliers.
• Mentor mid-level and Associate analysts; assist with prioritisation.
• Own system documentation standards and governance.
