Job summary

Guinness Partnership in Oldham is seeking a Customer Support Officer to provide tailored tenancy sustainment support to residents, helping them maximise income, access benefits, and maintain successful tenancies. The role is full-time, 35 hours, with hybrid working between office and home.

You will work with internal teams, local authorities and support agencies to offer expert advice, promote independence and improve resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of working closely with residents in the housing sector.
• Proven knowledge of current welfare and housing benefits.
• Experience and success of cross agency working to deliver positive results in a collaborative manner.
• Proven ability to communicate complex information to colleagues and residents sufficiently to aid their understanding and actions.
• Proven ability to advocate on behalf of the company and/or residents when dealing with local authorities and other benefit agencies.
• Good oral and written communications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrates the Guinness Behaviours.
• Up to date knowledge of new initiatives in the housing sector.
• Experience of providing cross-cutting services in the voluntary or statutory sector.
• Knowledge of current thinking in the sustaining tenancies field.
