Job summary

Amentum is seeking Systems Engineers to join our UK team. The majority of work can be performed from home with 1–2 days in the Bristol office and occasional site visits.

You will operate across MoD, Nuclear and decommissioning programmes, contributing to a robust systems engineering lifecycle and providing SME guidance to project teams. You will work within a safety-focused, regulated environment, delivering requirements management, V&V planning and interface management while developing your

Qualifications

• Experience of Systems Engineering activities in a complex, safety focussed and regulated organisation with multiple interfaces
• Understanding of MoD processes and procedures is desirable
• Demonstrable ability to deliver across the systems engineering life cycle

Responsibilities

• Steer Systems Engineering principles and processes through stakeholder approvals
• Provide SME advice on systems engineering processes to project teams
• Capture, validate and manage requirements and V&V strategy and planning
• Ensure consistency in user, system, design and safety requirements capture and tracking
• Develop SE artefacts such as ConOps, RAMS, URDs, SRDs, VVRMs, ITEAPs
• Prepare presentations and represent SE in stakeholder meetings
