Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Structural Engineer to support our defence and security projects across the UK. The role involves design and analysis for large industrial facilities, with hybrid working and occasional site visits.

Ideal candidates will have transferable skills and be eager to grow within a multi-discipline engineering team. The role requires an accredited MEng in Civil Engineering, with Chartered status preferred, and the ability to work across codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong technical design experience across codes (British, American, international) and Eurocodes.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, timelines and resources.
• Solid understanding of structural theory and problem solving.
• Experience preparing bids/proposals and client relationship building.
• Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer or working towards it with support.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and analysis for large industrial facilities and power-related structures.
• Manage project deliverables, quality, budget and scheduling.
