Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Defence and Security practice across the UK. You will contribute to design and analysis for large industrial facilities, leveraging your experience with seismic design, blast analysis, and finite element methods.

Occasional site visits and a hybrid work pattern—1-2 days in the office—are offered. The role requires an Accredited MEng in Civil Engineering, ideally Chartered status, and ability to manage projects, deliverables, budgets and client

Qualifications

• Good all-round technical design using British, American and international standards, and/or Eurocodes.
• Proven ability to manage projects and delivery of outputs, including quality, budget and schedule.
• Strong understanding of structural theory and problem solving.
• Experience in bids/proposals and client relationship building.
• Accredited MEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Ideally Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer or working towards it.

Responsibilities

• Deliver structural design and analysis for large industrial facilities.
• Manage projects, deliverables, budgets and resources.
• Prepare bids and client proposals and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across阶段 and disciplines.
