Job summary

Booker, the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler, is hiring in the Supply Chain team. The role covers stock planning, supplier portfolio management and ensuring stock arrives on time to support branches and categories.

You’ll forecast demand including promotions and new lines, working with multiple stakeholders to keep service levels high and costs controlled. The position is permanent, 38 hours per week, hybrid with 3 days in the office, and involves working across the business to resolve

Qualifications

• Good numerical skills.
• Clear communication, strong organisation, and attention to detail.
• Confidence using stock ordering/planning systems or similar systems.
• A practical way to forecast new lines using sensible comparisons and clear assumptions.
• GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+.

Responsibilities

• Hitting service level targets while managing stockholding and waste.
• Owning a supplier/category portfolio.
• Overseeing stock arrivals into our network on time and in full.
• Forecasting demand including NPD launches, seasonality and promotions.
• Collaborating with multiple stakeholders and ensuring clear communication at all levels.
• Spotting risks early and taking action to resolve issues.
