Job summary

Cae is seeking a Senior leader to drive the development of integrated submarine training and simulation solutions. You will work across customers, product, engineering, and program teams to ensure aligned, scalable offerings supporting global opportunities.

The role emphasizes turning evolving requirements into evidence-based, modular training solutions, with a focus on regulatory and security considerations and international delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of related experience in industry and/or military service.
• Minimum 10 years of experience focused on the development and/or delivery of training programs within operational or maintenance environments in the defense sector.
• Relevant post-secondary education, diploma, degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience developing integrated training, simulation, engineering, defense, or complex operational solutions.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary or matrix teams in complex environments.
• Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills with the ability to develop solutions from evolving requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize operational, technical, commercial, and training information into integrated solutions.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and influence decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience working in highly regulated, complex, high-risk, or mission-critical environments.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally up to approximately 20% of the time.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Canadian and/or NATO Secret Security Clearances.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated submarine training solutions to support customer success and growth.
• Support naval business development activities, including global opportunity identification and market analysis.
• Conduct needs analyses during business capture and pre-contract phases.
• Develop evidence-based training solution recommendations from evolving requirements.
• Design modular, scalable training solutions aligned with product strategies.
• Evaluate approaches using operational effectiveness, affordability, risk, delivery confidence, and objectives.
• Promote product-based thinking through standardization and reuse.
• Collaborate with engineering, program teams, finance, HR, IT, suppliers, and OEM partners.
• Facilitate multidisciplinary workshops to aid customer decisions.
• Present concepts and strategies to customers and senior leadership.
• Support make-buy-partner decisions aligned with business goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve competitiveness and standardization across programs.
• Promote innovation through emerging technologies with measurable value.
• Contribute to a market-leading submarine training portfolio.
• Support customer engagement, demonstrations, and program execution globally.
• Work with technical teams to lead opportunities through lifecycle.
