Job summary

KONE is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer to support the sales team with technical proposals and project coordination in the UK. You will own the order process, create CAD/layout drawings, estimate installation times and costs, and handle technical queries from customers.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver compliant solutions. The role demands a technical engineering background, strong communication, and a customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma with technical aptitude.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Willingness to learn and work with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Own order handling: definitions, CAD/layout drawings, timing and cost estimation.
• Support sales with technical proposals and costings.
• Coordinate with design teams (architects, engineers) and contractors.
• Create project plans, manage drawings, specifications and materials.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations and ISO procedures.
• Site surveys and handover to Operations; control project costs.
