Qualifications

• Experience delivering technical solutions in maritime, defence, naval, aerospace, or mission-critical environments.
• Understanding of maritime platforms or integrated mission systems.
• Strong knowledge across systems integration and digital architectures.
• Experience translating operational needs into technical solutions for customers.
• Ability to evaluate architectural decisions considering technical, operational, and commercial factors.
• Proven experience preparing technical proposals and architecture artefacts.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence diverse audiences.
• Baseline Personnel Security Standard and potential higher-level vetting requirements; UK residency considerations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative solution architectures for maritime and naval defence programmes.
• Engage directly with customers to understand operational challenges and shape future maritime capability.
• Collaborate with engineering, programme, and business development teams to create technical solutions.
• Support bids and growth opportunities by developing technical proposals.
• Design end-to-end solutions spanning platforms, shore infrastructure, and digital services.
• Produce architecture documentation and artefacts throughout the solution lifecycle.
