Qualifications

• Experience in Business/Corporate Banking or Financial Services
• Relationship management or client management experience with a focus on outstanding customer service
• Business development skills with track record of expanding accounts
• Commercial lending experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong understanding of risk management
• Full driving licence to attend meetings in St Albans and surrounding areas

Responsibilities

• Grow the business sustainably by expanding the portfolio and leveraging HSBC's network
• Drive revenue through needs-based solutions and client engagement
• Manage work and resources to increase quality and client visit opportunities
• Collaborate with Group colleagues to deliver suitable solutions
• Understand client business and industry to provide insights and fair outcomes
• Perform credit risk assessments and due diligence
• Manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle
• Adhere to HSBC standards and report breaches per local procedures
• Stay updated on HSBC products and market changes
• Escalate information to maintain a clear client risk profile
• Acquire knowledge of a product area and hold necessary regulatory certificates if applicable
