Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking individuals to join our team in East Midlands. This varied role supports safety, health, environmental and quality arrangements across Resident Services.

You will coordinate governance, monitor compliance, and help drive improvements while aligning with ISO standards. The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 health and safety qualification, strong policy experience, and proven training delivery skills.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 health and safety qualification, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Experience of health and safety management, including developing and implementing health and safety policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, including CDM Regulations 2015.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, with auditing experience.
• Experience delivering training or presentations to employees and managers.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance and assurance for safety, health, and environment.
• Monitor compliance and performance across resident services.
• Support ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certification processes.
• Drive continuous improvement across operations.
• Collaborate with managers to implement policies and deliver training.
