Compliance Coordinator (SHEQ)

Location: Hull

The Opportunity

As a Compliance Coordinator you’ll play a key role within both the SHEQ team and across the whole business.

Key Duties

• Keeping policies, procedures and forms up to date, controlled and accessible for users across the organisation
• Monitoring legal registers and legislative changes, ensuring proactive updates to systems and processes
• Leading on internal audit scheduling and delivery, and supporting external audit readiness and successful outcomes
• Investigating and analysing incidents and trends, ensuring root causes are addressed through clear corrective and preventative actions
• Supporting readiness across projects and sites, including quality plans, stage gates and operational compliance support
• Your work will directly contribute to: keeping the organisation audit-ready and aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.

About You

• An understanding of ISO 9001 standards and associated compliance frameworks
• Strong internal auditing skills, ideally with hands‑on experience in managing or contributing to audit programmes
• Experience supporting or managing quality control plans, including input into supplier assurance or project compliance
• A solutions‑focused approach, confident in analysing problems and presenting practical improvements
• Ideally have worked within a Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental or Sustainability based department within Manufacturing, Engineering or Construction.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, able to work collaboratively across teams and influence positive change
• Driving license is critical to people to carry out some of the off‑site audits
