Job summary

Nottingham City Council is seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to support safety, health, environmental and quality arrangements across Resident Services. You will coordinate governance, monitor compliance and assist with ISO 45001/14001 certification.

The role requires a Level 3 health and safety qualification, strong communication skills, and the ability to train staff at all levels. This hybrid role offers varied responsibilities and opportunities to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

• Level 3 health and safety qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in health and safety management, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation including CDM 2015.
• Experience auditing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience delivering training to employees and managers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance and assurance across Resident Services.
• Monitor compliance and performance, support ISO 45001/ISO 14001 certification.
• Drive continuous improvement across operational services.
