Job summary

JLES Group is seeking a proactive SHEQ Coordinator to promote a strong health, safety, quality and environmental culture across the business. You will work with operational teams to ensure compliance with legislation and drive continual improvement of QHSE systems.

The role requires NEBOSH/IOSHH qualification and experience in health, safety or compliance within construction; a UK driving licence is essential for travel to regional offices and sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH/IOSHH qualification or recognized equivalent.
• Health & Safety or construction-related degree desirable.
• Experience in Health & Safety, Compliance or QHSE in construction preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, able to work with teams.
• UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist QHSE Manager with Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental activities.
• Develop and continually improve QHSE policies and procedures.
• Implement and monitor the training plan for staff.
• Provide administrative support for Quality management.
• Maintain accident and incident records and reporting documentation.
• Keep staff training records up to date per legislation.
• Prepare QHSE reports, presentations and documentation.
• Monitor and review QHSE management system performance.
• Distribute monthly, quarterly and annual QHSE reports.
• Participate in QHSE meetings and record minutes.
• Assist with supplier and subcontractor QHSE approvals.
