Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major highways project in Coventry. The role covers commercial ownership of a substantial package, NEC4 Option C administration, and robust cost/control reporting for about £20 million of works over the next 18 months.

The position is hybrid with 3 days on site in Coventry and 2 days from home, offering an attractive market-rate contract despite Inside IR35. You will work with a delivery team to ensure commercial objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Strong NEC administration and commercial processes.
• Experience on major highways infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage significant packages or projects.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of the Walls Grey Package within the highways scheme.
• Manage approximately £20 million of works over the next 18 months.
• Manage subcontractors and oversee subcontract management.
• Provide strong commercial and contractual management across the project.
• Administer NEC4 Option C contract and ensure cost control.
