Job summary

Senior Quantity Surveyor role on a major Coventry highways project. Hybrid working (3 days on site / 2 days from home) for an initial 18-month contract. You will drive commercial management, NEC4 processes and cost control across a substantial package.

The Walls Grey Package is valued at £150-£200 million, with around £20 million of works planned over the next 18 months. Strong NEC4, earthworks, drainage and subcontract management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience on major highways projects.
• Strong NEC4 experience, including Option C.
• Proven ability to manage large packages and commercial risks.
• Expertise in NEC contract administration and commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Take commercial ownership of the Walls Grey Package within the highways scheme.
• Manage approximately £20 million of works over the next 18 months.
• Oversee subcontract management and ensure robust cost control.
• Provide experienced commercial leadership and reporting across NEC4 contracts.
• Monitor costs, forecasts, variations, payments and commercial performance.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities and communicate with stakeholders.
