Job summary

Aptia Group is seeking a Senior Pension Administrator in London to support a BPA client with complex queries, pension calculations and peer reviews. The role involves advising on procedural and legislative changes, budgeting, and improving processes to benefit client relationships.

You will join a hybrid role, collaborating with colleagues across our UK offices, and contribute to delivering accurate pension services to scheme members and trustees.

Qualifications

• Experience liaising with clients and trustees.
• Ability to perform complex pension calculations and peer reviews.
• Strong DB scheme knowledge and understanding of UK pensions legislation.
• Good written and verbal communication; analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with clients and scheme members via letters, email and phone.
• Understand scheme details and ensure activities follow scheme rules.
• Perform complex pensions calculations and enter data using automated and non-automated processes.
• Perform checking to support team members and monitor progress with MI reporting.
• Monitor project income and help deliver client projects on plan and budget.
• Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue within the client group.
• Keep abreast of technical developments and legislative changes and act on implications.
