National Highways is seeking a Senior Network Planner - Resilience to lead resilience, emergency and severe weather response planning, and to shape processes that deliver maximum customer benefit.

Based in a hybrid setup from Bristol or Exeter, you will drive contingency planning, coordinate with regional teams and local authorities, and manage Network Resilience funding to minimise disruptions during incidents.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in contingency and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of Civil Contingency Act 2004 is desirable.
• Experience creating and developing response plans including debriefs is desirable.
• Ability to implement crisis management procedures and policies.

Aufgaben

• Lead development of resilience, emergency and severe weather response plans.
• Proactively liaise with regional Operations and external stakeholders to minimise impact of events.
• Manage Network Resilience funding and liaise with service providers to prioritise schemes.
• Analyse effectiveness of existing plans and implement improvements.
