Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior Design Manager, Electrical to lead technical design across high-profile projects in the Milton Keynes area, with a hybrid work setup including site visits, home and the London office near Moorgate.

You will drive design management, governance and collaboration with clients, consultants and suppliers to deliver robust, compliant and commercially aligned solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Building Services discipline.
• Incorporated or Chartered status with CIBSE, IET or IMechE preferred.
• Extensive Building Services Engineering and design management experience.
• Strong governance, design risk management and construction method knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management and technical delivery during tender and pre-construction phases.
• Develop and manage project technical strategies, design programmes and deliverables.
• Identify, manage and mitigate technical and design risks to support delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act, CDM Regulations and standards.
• Coordinate consultants, designers and internal stakeholders to objectives.
• Drive design quality, value engineering and technical innovation.
• Support digital engineering and Net Zero objectives.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise to project and design teams.
