Job summary

Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our growing Design Management team. The role focuses on driving technical excellence across pre-construction phases for complex engineering projects, coordinating clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver robust, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Building Services Engineering and design management.
• Ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong governance, design risk management and knowledge of building regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management and technical delivery during tender and pre-construction phases.
• Develop and manage project technical strategies, design programmes and deliverables.
• Identify, manage and mitigate technical and design risks to support successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act, CDM Regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate consultants, designers and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Drive design quality, value engineering and technical innovation across projects.
• Support digital engineering and sustainability initiatives, including Net Zero project objectives.
• Provide leadership, guidance and technical expertise to project and design management teams.
