Block Recruit is seeking a Senior Block Manager / Team Leader in Kent with proven residential block management experience. The role combines hands-on management of portfolio properties, team leadership, and client relationship management, with a path to grow the department.

The position offers hybrid working after probation (3 days in office, 2 days from home) and the opportunity to earn commission on new management instructions. Salary circa £35,000–£40,000 plus commission, DOE.

Qualificações

• Solid experience within residential Block Management, ideally managing larger or more complex developments.
• Previous experience supporting, supervising or leading a team, or the ability to demonstrate strong leadership potential.
• A good understanding of residential leasehold legislation, service charge management and relevant compliance requirements.
• Experience dealing directly with RMC and RTM directors, freeholders and leaseholders.

Responsabilidades

• Hands-on Block Management: manage a small portfolio and maintain relationships with freeholders, RMCs, RTM; oversee service charges and major works.
• Team Leadership & Support: lead a small Block Management team and coordinate with Property Managers and the wider business.
• Compliance & Financial Management: ensure leasehold regulations, building safety and financial reporting are followed; monitor expenditures.
• Business Development & Growth: identify opportunities to generate new instructions and expand the portfolio.
