Job summary

Southern Water is seeking a Scheduler to manage and dispatch planned and reactive work from the Durrington Worthing office. The role is hybrid, with 3 days in the Durrington office and 2 days remote, requiring strong organisation and communication to meet service levels.

You will coordinate with contractors and internal teams, use systems like Maximo, Lightfoot and Water Works, and maintain clear customer updates while managing deadlines in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling and dispatching field work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline.
• Familiarity with field operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Schedule reactive and planned work during core hours with priority-based dispatch.
• Liaise with District Managers to review performance and adjust plans.
• Adapt schedules to emergencies to prevent service issues.
• Track field team movements to ensure adherence to plans.
• Record job details and update customers on progress.
