Job summary

Jewson, part of Stark UK, is seeking a customer-focused branch team member in Glasgow. The role is full-time (Mon-Fri 7:30–17:00, every other Saturday 08:00–12:00) at 257 Glasgow Road, Rutherglen.

You will interact with customers, process orders, manage deliveries, and help maintain a tidy, well-stocked branch. You’ll join a supportive team with a focus on community and decency, with a bonus potential and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to a busy branch environment.

Responsibilities

• Learn Jewson product lines and services to assist customers effectively.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers face-to-face and over the phone.
• Process orders and payments using in-house systems; organise deliveries and update accounts.
• Keep the branch clean and presentable to make a strong first impression.
• Maintain stock levels and conduct regular stock counts; support colleagues with improvements.
