Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Risk Manager to lead development of credit scoring capability within the Risk Decision & Data Science team. You’ll deliver models and tools across the credit lifecycle and ensure responsible lending and regulatory compliance.

You’ll engage with senior stakeholders, translate complex issues for non-technical audiences and drive high-impact decisioning products, while benefiting from a supportive hybrid-working culture across the UK.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering decision modelling scorecards and innovative risk decisioning tools.
• Experience communicating complex modelling concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to coach/mentor colleagues delivering modelling tools.

Responsibilities

• Engage with senior stakeholders and lead projects for ongoing model development and monitoring.
• Develop, document and deliver models and analytical tools across Credit Risk and Collections/Recoveries.
• Present projects and insights to modelling fora and business committees.
• Provide technical leadership to motivate and enable the team and support career development.
