Close Brothers is seeking an experienced data leader to own Retail Finance data and BI capability. You will direct Data Engineers and BI Analysts, delivering trusted data, reporting and insight across Retail Finance, including major transformation programmes and regulatory reporting.

You will provide delivery management and solution oversight from requirements through engineering and deployment, joining at a pivotal point in our data journey.

Qualifications

• Experience directing data engineering, BI, reporting or data-platform teams in a regulated banking or financial services environment.
• Proven ownership of complex data solutions from demand through to live operation.
• Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL and data governance.

Responsabilités

• Lead, develop and set priorities for a team of Data Engineers and BI Analysts.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of Retail data and BI solutions.
• Oversee data deliverables across major business and technology programmes.
• Balance strategic programmes with operational reporting and regulatory commitments.
• Provide solution oversight, ensuring alignment with architecture, security and data standards.
• Maintain stable, secure data platforms and reporting services.
• Lead transition from legacy tech to cloud-based platforms.
